Jack Wild's Wild Bunch

Jack Wild, Fine Art Photographer Extraordinaire, has been remarkably successful across two careers. His path began when he discovered his interest in art during his formative years in Brooklyn. He attained the first step of his goal graduating from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) with an undergraduate degree in Graphic and Industrial Art followed by a Masters in Photography. He studied under fabled talent including David Suskind, Harry Callahan, and Minor White.

From there he returned to New York where he began his career as a commercial and advertising photographer apprenticed under Irving Penn and Art Kane. After few years, Jack ventured out with his own studio, first in New York for ten years then in Boston for the next 30. During this time, he exhibited his work in numerous national and international shows. His impressive list of Fortune 500 clients included many technical corporations like Wang, IBM, and 3M along with a impressive array of camera and photographic equipment manufacturer's including Hasselblad, Pentax, and Nikon. To sum up this phase of his professional life, Jack has photographed myriad subjects, everything from peanuts to elephants, model airplanes to the Concorde.

Shortly after retiring to south Florida, Jack began his second career, that of sharing his talent and enthusiasm teaching an ever-growing array of serious photography students at The Art School of the Boca Raton Museum of Art. His Fine Art Photography courses span afternoons and evenings throughout the week covering all levels of experience--Beginners to Intermediate, Advanced to Master Here he teaches, guides, encourages, and grows the talents of each student, most of whom return semester after semester, year after year.
