Artist's Statement
There are those elusive moments when all the elements of a scene come together in a way that time seems to stand still. Nostalgia for the past, hope for the future and a profound sense of now, can all be represented in the same still photograph. That is the real power of photography.
The way the light, color, form and mood of an image capture the subjectcan provoke our hearts and minds to seek its deeper meaning and value.As a photographer, I aspire to find these images that have the power to draw us in and reveal their essence.
