Artist's Statement

I currently work in mixed media using a variety of materials including paint, hand colored papers and digital photographs. I like to use found objects and recycled materials in unique ways. Combining those elements allows me to infuse the work with my imagination rather than trying to paint the perfect rose.

My attraction to abstraction and non objective art is motivated by the challenge of interpreting an idea, a figure or an image in a manner that allows multiple interpretations by the viewer.
