Artists Statement

The two photos of the lifeguard stands that you are seeing are very few in Florida now.

Between high tides and hurricanes most of the original stands have been replaced. If you look along your beaches you will more than likely see plastic portable stands.

The new portable lifeguard stands are not as pretty but do serve their purpose.

Bio

As an Professional Photographer I have been taking pictures for over 25 years. I enjoy taking pictures to turn into art work. I have always loved to paint.When the computer came along and various programs for art was introduced it was like a dream come true for me. I am now able to do both the things I enjoy most Photography and Painting. I was never able to accomplish how to draw, Being able to paint by computer is a dream come true for me. I look for images that will make good Black and White images. Other images are taken just to be turned into a painting. Then of course sometimes I have to be professional and the images I take are strictly for what my customers are asking for.

I also teach photography.I have assisted in teaching workshops for some very top known professional photographers including Canon. As a professional my husband and I photograph events not weddings, birthdays or Bar Mitzvah but celebrity charity events, belly dancing conferences, etc. We do studio work and stock photography.
